During the Angewandte Festival 2023 I walked around in Vienna, making molds of cracks and cavities in the city.
These were then made into ceramic cups used in this tea ceremony event at Paulusplatz 5.
The participants each choose a ceramic cup and were served tea.
The cup was offered as a gift to the participant.

This was also assumed to be true for three-dimensional objects.
In 1995, a Russian mathematician named Vladimir Arnold proposed the possible existence of an impossible object.
11 years later, Gábor Domokos discovers the "Gömböc", the shape that always strives for equilibrium.
Here is my endeavor to assume this form.

Joint performance with me and Yasuyo Tatebe. The ceremony was held on top of a mountain in Bergen.
The participants each choose a cup and then approached the table were tea was being served.
The ceramic cups were made and glazed to reflect the surrounding enviroment and labeled with the word "Tea" or a drawing of a teapot.
Together we spent a moment, enjoying the tea and the place. The participants were offered to keep the cup as a gift.
